What we collect
Your account details (email, display name, city, timezone, date of birth for the 18+ check), the connections and notes you create, the interests you pick, the plans we generate for you, and the feedback you leave. We also keep basic usage counts so daily limits work.
Why we use it
To generate date plans, to remember what worked, to enforce plan limits, and to send account email such as sign-in and password resets. We do not sell your data and we do not use your private notes for advertising.
Who else sees it
Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe - we never see your card. Venue and map lookups go to Google Places and OpenStreetMap using only your search location, never your notes. Email is delivered by our email provider. Data is stored in our managed cloud database.
Sharing a plan
A share link shows only the itinerary: title, date, city, and the stops. It never includes who the date is with, your notes, or anything else about your account. You can unshare at any time, which permanently invalidates the link.
Your control
You can edit or remove connections and notes at any time, and delete your account from Settings, which removes your personal data. Ask us anything at support@datecraft.ca.
